William Myer
and
Barbary Schnickenburger
Be it remembered that on
the 26th day of April AD 1855 a marriage license issued to William Myer
and
Barbary Schnickenburger both of lawful age which license reads as follows
to wit:
State of Indiana
Tippecanoe County ss
State of Indiana to any
person empowered by law to solemnize marriage:
Greeting. You are hereby authorized to join as husband and wife
William Myer and Barbary Schneckenburger
and of the same make due return within three months according to the
laws of the State of Indiana.
Witness: Otto R. Meakly,
clerk of our said Tippecanoe Court and the seal affixed at office in Lafayette
this
26th day of April AD 1853. O R Weakly, clerk.
And afterwards to wit:
On the 28th day of April
AD 1855, the following certificate of marriage of
said parties was returned and filed to with:
State of Indiana
Tippecanoe County
I hereby certify that on
the 26th day of April AD 1855 I joined William
Myer and Barbary Schnickenburger in marriage according to the laws
of the
State of Indiana.
