SALE OF LAND
By Virtue of an order of the Tippecanoe Probate Court, at its May term,
1833, I will sell at public auction, to the
highest bidder, on Saturday the 6th day of July next, between the hours
of 10 o'clock A.M. and 4 P.M., the
following described lot of land containing eighty acres: the west half
the south west quarter of section No. twenty one,
township twenty three, north of range four west. This land contains
valuable timber and is situated in the lower part
of Wabash township. Sale to take place on the premises.
Terms of sale, - One third of the purchase money to be paid on the day
of sale, one third in twelve and the remaining
third in eighteen months from the day of sale, the purchaser giving
bond with approved security for payment of said
sums of money with legal interest from date until paid. The land
is subject to the widow's dower.

At this time comes the said David Patton, administrator of the goods,
and chattels, rights, credits, monies,
and effects which were of John Dickson, late of said county deceased,
and filed his petition. Suggesting,
amongst other things, that the personal estate of the decedent, whom
he represents, is insufficient to pay
the debts and demands outstanding against said estate and that it be
necessary to sell the real estate belonging
to said decedent for the purpose aforesaid, and it appearing to the
satisfaction of the Court, that the above
named James Dickson and John Dickson are non-residents of this State,
It is therefore ordered by the Court
now here, that the said James Dickson and John Dickson be notified
of the filing and pendency of the above
petition by three successive publications in the Wabash Mercury, a
newpaper printed and published in said
county, sixty days before the next term of this court to be and appear
before the Judge of this court, on the
first day of the term at the Court house in said county on the second
Monday in November next, and show
cause, if any they can show, why said real estate, being eighty acres
off the east part of the south west
fractional quarter of section No. 33, in township 24, north of range
4 west, in said county, belonging to said
decedent, shall not be sold and made assests in the hands of said administrator
for the purpose of paying the
debts and demands against the same or the same will be decreed against
them in their absence, and this case
continued, &c.

The widow and heirs of Joseph Recob, deceased } real estate
Now at this time comes the said complainants, by Brown, their solicitor, and file their bill for the partition
of the real property of the said Joseph Recob, deceased, and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court
upon affidavit filed, that the widow, and children of Frederick Recob, deceased, and Joseph Igo and
Silas Igo, heirs of Elizabeth Igo, formerly Elizabeth Recob, intermarried with Daniel Igo, are non residents
of the State of Indiana. It is ordered by the Court that the above non resident heirs of said Joseph Recob,
deceased, be notified of the filing and pendency of said bill in their behalf by three weeks successive publications
in the Wabash Mercury, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in Lafayette, Tippecanoe
coutny, State of Indiana, to appear on the first day of the next term at the Courthouse in said county on the first
Monday after the fourth Monday in March next, and answer the above bill of complaint, or the matters and
things therein mentioned will be decreed against them in their absences, and the cause is continued.

upon the estate of John Bartholomew, late of Tippecanoe county, Indiana, deceased. All persons indebted to
said estate are requested to make immediate payment, and those having claims against the same to present
them legally authenticated for settlement. The estate is solvent.

Land For Sale
The subscriber wishes to sell his farm, situated on Indian creek, and joining the Grand Prairie, about 5 miles
Northwest of Lafayette. There are about 237 acres in the tract, about 100 acres of which are under good
fencing, and 60 acres broke. The improvements on the farm are two hewed log cabins and a stable. The

Sheriff's Sale
By virtue of an execution to us directed from the Circuit Court of Tippecanoe county, Indiana. I will expose
at public vendue in the town of Dayton in said county, on the 28th day of this inst., between the hours of
9 o'clock A M and 4 P M of said day, the following property, to wit: one house and lot being lost No. 6 in
the town of Dayton in said county, and in David H. Gregory's plat in said town, one Bark Mill, and a quantity
of tan bark and some plank, taken as the property of Jas. Thompson, to satisfy an execution in my hands in favor of William Digby against said Thompson.
