29th ult. Mrs. Mary Fairman, consort of Dr. Loyal Fairman,
one of our
representatives in the State Legislature.
~On Mon. night last, Mr. David Bryant, an intelligent and
respectable citizen. Mr. B. has left an afflicted family
to lament their bereavment.
DIED-At the residence of his brother, Cyrus
Ball, Esq., in this place, on the afternoon of Friday, August 22d,
Mr. Perry Patton, aged 21 years. The funeral procession
will be formed at 4 o'clock this afternoon and the friends
and acquaintances of the deceased, together with the friends of the
family, are respectfully requested to be present.
~On Monday last, Cornelia, infant daughter of Cyrus Ball, Esqr., of this place.
DIED-On Friday, the 22nd of August,
in this place, Lewis Johnson Woodard, son of Mr. Ferdinand Woodard,
aged 16 months.
~On Thursday night, William Monroe, son of James M. Bryant, aged one year and 3 months.
DIED-On Friday 11th inst., Mrs. Susanna, consort of Capt. Jacob Davidson of this place.
~On last Wednesday morning, Mrs. Lucinda, consort of Alan
B. Slaughter, Esqr. of this place.
DIED--On last Sunday night, Elizabeth J. H. daughter of Doct. David Jennings, in the 5th year of her age.
~In this county on Tuesday last, Thomas Toole, Senr., a much
respected citizen, in the 61st year of his age.

~At the residence of her husband Thomas S. Reynold, on Sat.
21st instant, Mrs. Eliza H. Reynolds, in the
33rd year of her age. -- Sangamon Journal, Illinois, will please

~Died on the 18th inst., at the residence of Mr. D. Brawley, Antoniette,
infant daughter of Mrs. Close,
formerly of Pennsylvania.

~At Chicago, October 8th, Elias Doyle, formerly of this County,
in the 27th year of his age. He has left many
friends and relations to mourn his loss. Stranger touch not the
repose of innocence and virtue, for there lies the
fond hope of a doting mother, four fond sisters mourns his absent death,
and two dear brothers bedewed his
grave with tears.
~In this town on Friday morning last, after a short illness, Mr.
John C. Chamberlain, an old and highly esteemed
citizen of Lafayette. The last sad duties tp the deceased were
performed yesterday by a large assembly of citizens
and friends. He has left a wife and several children to lament
their bereavement.
