 William Watkins, son of Henry Clay and Jane
                        Garrard Watkins.  He was born
 July, 1883 in Warren County, Indiana and died
                        July 28, 1948.  He is buried
 in an  unmarked grave in Battle Ground
                        Cemetery, Battle Ground, Indiana.

 WILLIAM E. WATKINS
 William E. Watkins, 65, died Wednesday at
                          11:10 p.m, at the home of a sister, Mrs. Pearl
                          Reynolds, 411 Alabama street.  He was
                          born in Warren county and was a former
                          resident of Monon where he was a
                          carpenter.  Survivors include two
                          brothers, Harley, Kokomo and Lewis, Lafayette;
                          and two sisters, Mrs. Clara Poore and Mrs.
                          Reynolds, both of Lafayette.  Services
                          will be held Saturday at the Soller-Baker
                          funeral home at 3:30 p.m. with Rev. John
                          Keller officiating.  Burial in Battle
                          Ground cemetery.
