at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, Ind. During the influenza epidemic
many of the soldiers from Purdue Camp were brought to the Hospital. In
her charitable and unselfish work in behalf of these afflicted soldiers,
she contracted the epidemic and died November 29, 1918. Buried with military
honors as an auxiliary army nurse, in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Lafayette,
Ind.
