The Indiana State Soldiers' Home is located on State Road 43 North in West Lafayette, Indiana. The cemetery is located behind the Home and has an entrance on Soldiers Home Road. As of May 2003, two complete sections, Central and West Central, have been read and transcribed and are included here. This reading was made from digital photographs taken of each tombstone and there is an index to help you find the name you're looking for. The links on the index pages are to that particular page - not the row. In the event that you care to visit the cemetery to find your ancestor's grave, they have been transcribed in row order, not alphabetically, to make them easier to find. The rows were walked from north to south (left to right facing the stones). I am currently working on the South Central Section and hope to have it online soon.
