Baruch Stoops 1808-1884
and wife Ann (Milburn) Stoops 1827-1884.
Both buried Bethel Ridge cemetery in York Twp.
John Peters was a riverboat pilot. He was the son of George Peters. It
looks like George was married in Switzerland County and John was born
there, but the family then moved to Gallatin Co., KY, until about 1850
when John moved back to Vevay.

Great Grandfather, James Dalmazzo Malin and also one of his wives,
Isabelle Lucinda (Owsley) Malin, my Great Grandmother.
James was born
in Vevay, the son of Ira
& Elizabeth J. (Dalmazzo) Malin and the grandson of Judge
Joseph Malin & Nancy Elizabeth (Mendenhall). James was a
riverboat Captain and also in business with his father as a liquor wholeseller in St. Louis MO.
