This is David Burroughs Allen, Sgt, Co. A, 29th Indiana Volunteers.
David Burroughs Allen was born in 1836 in New York state, and immigrated to Indiana with his parents, Truman Allen and Mahala Burroughs Allen while still a child. He served with the 29th Indiana Volunteers, Company A, during the Civil War, and was one of the 19 men taken prisoner at the battle of Chicamauga. He died in Andersonville Prison in September of 1864 at the age
of 28 and is buried in the cemetery there.
David Burroughs Allen's younger sister, Cornelia, married Nelson Joseph Letts after the Civil War. These were great grandparents of mine.

Everett E. Goodrich
Everett E Goodrich, Son of John T and Patty M Goodrich. Born 1838 Delaware County, New York. Enrolled as Private Co. "H", 74th Regiment, Indiana Volunteers. Promoted to Corporal January 1863. Missing in action atChickamauga, Georgia September 20,1863. Admitted to hospital at Andersonville, Georgia 7/22/1864 where he died 8/22/1864. Grave # 6493 . Listed on Circle monument in Angola.
