Roachdale - Clyde R. "Pinkey" Perkins, 66 of Roachdale died Tuesday in Indiana University Hospital at Indianapolis. A self-employed contractor in the Roachdale area, Mr. Perkins was a member of Roachdale Masonic Lodge, OES; Scottish Rite, Valley of Indianpolis, Low 12 Club, Roachdale Veterans of Foreign Wars, Optimist ... daecon in Roachdale Christian. Served in Army WWI he rec'd Purple Heart. Born April 8, 1917 Hadley, Ind s/o Ottie & Mary Lulu Eggers Perkins. Married Lucille M. Clark - prec him. Surv two sons, Ronald - Ladoga - DOnald, Greenwood; daughter Maria Dean of Greencastle; 4 brothers, James & John, Roachdale; Watler, Danville, Ind and Donald of Linden; 3 sisters, Dorothy Byrd, Greencastle; Edith Norton, C'ville and Juanita Long, Roachdale and 8 grandch. A daughter, brother and grandch prec him. Serv 11 a.m. Fri Servies & Morgan at Roachdale with Andy Simkins and Brother James Lynn offic. Burial Roachdale.   --- kbz
