RUSSELLVILLE – Ora Lee Miles, 75-year-old retired farmer, died at 11 p.m. Monday in Veterans Hospital at Indianapolis. In addition to farming, Mr. Miles was also employed by HyTex Brick Co. at Crawfordsville. He had resided in Russellville since moving to this community from Crawfordsville two years ago. A veteran of World War I, he was a member of the VFW. Born March 15, 1891, in Summitown, Tenn., he was a son of James E. and Ellen Stewart Miles. He was married to Mary Mikesell. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Harold Gray of New Ross, Mrs. Robert Higgins of Russellville and Mrs. James Frey of Sebastian, Fla.; eight grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Loren Eugene, in 1956. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home in Crawfordsville with Rev. Charles Davis officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Crawfordsville. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Wednesday. -– jlr
