Krider, WJ - Putnam

Lt. WJ Krider, local dentist, received telegraphic orders Wednesday morning to “proceed Sept 1 to Harding field, Baton Rouge, LA reporting to commanding officer for duty.” Lt. Krider was commissioned a month ago and closed his office in the Prevo Bldg at once, and has been waiting for orders to report for active duty in the Medical Corps. Mrs. Krider and family will remain here for the time being or unti such time as Lt. Krider is more or less permanently stationed.
