Five Hoosier casualties of the Korean War including a Posey County man Killed in Action were reported yesterday by the Department of Defense. The soldier who died was M/Sgt Ray O. Riley, son of Rev. Perry Riley, Carbon.  Wounded were Sgt. John F. Gibson, Jr. son of John S. Gibson, Sr., Mishawaka; 1st Lt. James L. Johnson son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer J. Johnson, Valparaiso and Sgt. Raymond G. Kubeck, husband of Mrs. Esther R. Kubeck, Whiting. Missing in Action is Pvt. Billy J. Gilley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wentz A. Gilley, RR 3, Greencastle.
