Rockville & Greencastle Respond – Capt. Foote of Rockville, reports 101 men ready for marching.  Greencastle has 103, ready to march from that city. Indiana is today a vast Military Encampment, every county in the state almost has one or more companies enrolled. -- Wabash Express

Note: In the Union Guards that went from this place there was an excess of 18 men most of whom have returned to Greencastle.
