Estella Moore of Greencastle township in a suit filed in the Putnam Circuit court today asked a divorce from her husband, P. Orin Moore of Greencastle township. Mrs. Moore also asks alimony of $750. She charges cruel and inhuman treatment and alleges that during the time they resided together her husband struck her. She charges that he was quarrelsome and frequently placed the family in an embarrassing position financially. It is alleged that Moore often failed to properly support her and their children. The complain sets forth that the couple were married in January 1918 and were separated on March 2, 1931. Mrs. Moore says that she has no property other than real estate held jointly by herself and husband. She alleges he has $500 worth of personal property and is capable of earning $20 a week. In addition to her suit for divorce Mrs. Moore today filed for a court order to restrain Moore from disposing of his property pending settlement of the case in the circuit court. Mrs. Moore also filed an application for support money and for money for attorney’s fees. - kbz
