Greencastle, Ind Nov 9 – Yeggmen swooped on the Russellville State Bank at Russellville, Ind about 20 miles northwest of here early today but were frightened away before they used explosives to open the bank’s vault. The robbers used a skeleton key to open the rear door of the bank building Finger print experts from the State Bureau of Criminal investigation reached Russellville today from Indianapolis to examine prints left behind by the burglars. The attempted robbery was discovered this morning by Paul Goff, cashier of the bank.
