Roachdale Novelty Works - Putnam

The old Roachdale Novelty Works in Roachdale has been purchased by Martin Cutsinger & Sons of Edinburg who will remodel the plant and start a veneer mill. The deal was closed last week and the new enterprise will be started as soon as the machinery can be secured and installed. The Novelty works was started by the people  of Roachdale and was managed on a cooperative plan. The scheme failed to work, however, and the plant was abandoned. The new owners are thorough business men and they expect to make a big thing out of their new venture.
