Frank KENNEDY Barber - 1901 - Putnam

At the age of 11 years Mr. Kennedy came to Russellville with his parents. In 1889 he commenced the barber business here and has followed this trade continually until the present time, a period of 12 years.  In 1889, the firm of Benefiel & Kennedy was formed, but dissolved after a partnership of 11 months; in 1880 (sic 1890?) a partnership was formed with Chas. Woods. This lasted but three months, Mr. Kennedy then conducting business on his own account for two years. At the end of this time, a partnership was formed between Kennedy and Owens, but at the end of one year this was mutually dissolved, each going into business separately. Since ’93 Mr. Kennedy has conducted the business individually. – kbz
