Collier House, Washington Street, SE Corner Public Square, Greencastle The subscriber having purchased the well-known tavern stand of Wm. S. Collier, would announce to his old friends and the public generally that he is still prepared to accommodate them with the best of care and lodgings and will spare no pains to secure the happiness and comfort of his guests. Situated near the centre of the town in the immediate vicinity of the leading places of business, this well-known stand offers superior inducements to visitors and the traveling community.  His Table will at all time contain the best the market offers.  The Rooms in this House are large, well ventilated and elegantly furnished.  His increased accommodations enable him to offer single rooms to lode to lodgers, if  preferred, charges moderate.  Passengers Conveyed to and from the cars, free of charge. – The daily hack conveyed to and from the cars, free of charge.  The daily Huck for Rockville, Montezuma and other points, leaves this House at 7 ½ a.m. – WR WEBB    ~~~transcribed by kbz
