John Burley and Samuel C. Peck, having associated themselves together for the purpose of carrying on business in the above line, wish to say to their friends and the public generally that they intend to keep constantly on hand, a general assortment of FAMILY GROCERIES . consisting in part of sugars, coffee, tea, spices of all kinds. Flour by the barrel or sack; Meal, all kinds of Fish, a large lot of Wooden and Willow Ware such as buckets, tubs, churns, willow cabs, & c. A large lot of Fancy toys, consisting of Grace Hoops, as well as almost everything else that the inventive genius of man has produced. They are also prepared to furnish Wedding and other Parties with cakes of all kinds and descriptions on the very shortest notice and on the most reasonable terms.
Louis Weik, the well known and popular Baker will continue with this firm and preside over the Bakery department with his usual good taste and promptness. The room in which this firm is doing business has recently been very considerably enlarged and it is their desire to enlarge and increase their business in proportion. Their establishment is on the East side of the Public Square. They will at all times pay the highest price for all kinds of country produce.
