Exciting News from INGENWEB - host of the Newton County Site:
The Indiana Obituaries site is in the process of being revamped in a new format. This project is going to be somewhat long-term because t
here were over 10,000 obits on the Indiana Obituaries site and new obits are still rolling in! 
The new location will allow Margie and Jim to add obituaries more quickly and reduce the amount of coding necessary to make the obits live. 
The link on the homepage now goes to the new website but there is a link on the new website that goes to the old one, that link will remain until all the obits have been moved to the new site.

The Indiana Cemeteries page is a brand new project! 
This site contains links to the cemetery pages of all our counties as well as additional cemetery resources specific to each of our counties. 
Individual cemeteries and cemetery photos will be posted here as well for those counties that do not have an active cemeteries section.

Township Trustee Sharen Clark has donated the restoration records of the cemetery completed in 2006 with before and after photographs, and an information sheet on each stone in the cemetery.
