SEYBOLD Reunion

The 14th annual Seybold reunion was held at the Ladoga Park, Sunday July 20, 1941 with about 50 relatives and friends attending. A bountiful and delicious dinner was spread on tables at the noon hour and was enjoyed by all following the prayer of thanks offered by Frank Coons. Early after dinner a brief business meeting was conducted by the president, Charles Seybold. The report of the last reunion was read and approved. The new officers elected were: Eulalia Guilliams, President; OR Swaim, VP; Gladys Harrison, Sec-treas. A collection was taken to defray the expenses for the coming year. The next reunion will be held at the Ladoga Park on the 3rd Sunday in July, 1941. During the last year there was one birth, that of an 8# daughter born to Mr. and Mrs. Harold JOHNSON of Near Lafayette, July 10, 1941. There wer 3 weddings: John S. Swaim and Dorothy Jenkins Sept 1, 1941; Dee Burns and Loraine Coons June 14, 1941; C loyd Thompson and Lelia Seybold June 14, 1941. .(lists those present)
