The following account of the Rice and Stephens family reunion is taken from the Covington Friend of Sept. 11, 1903. The Rice and Stephens family held their 7th annual reunion in Johnson's grove just So. of Mellot last Fri. As is always the case the reunion was a day well enjoyed by everyone present. The weather seemed to be made especially for a gathering of the kind. The Rice and Stephens families are among the oldest families of the County.
