The annual reunion of the members of the Enoch Mote family occurred last Sunday at the camping place east of the Wisehart Hill. The family is now composed of four daughters, two sons, and sixteen grandchildren. A few of this number was not present. There has been during the past year four deaths, one daughter and three great grandchildren. Those present were: Geo. Warren and wife of Crawfordsville, Tom Kelsey and family of Darlington, John Beebee and family of Shannondale, Chas Mote and Mrs. Nan Haycock and daughter of Garfield, Ed Conrad and family, Lew Burk and family of Darlington, Ora Warren and family of Thorntown, Oke Kelsey, who has just returned from Cuba, Charlie Warren and family, Ora Enoch and family of Greenwood, and Clint Chadwick and wife of Mace. At 1 o’clock a sumptuous dinner was spread, of which about forty one heartily partook. They departed at a late hour, having arranged for the reunion one year hence. - kz

Last Sunday the children of the Enoch Mote family held their fifth annual reunion at the camping ford at the Wisehart hill, east of Smartsburg. The family is now composed of six children, A. W. Mote, C. P. Mote, Mrs. G. W. Warren, Mrs. Nan Haycock, Mrs. J. C. Beebee, and Mrs. I. T. Kelsey. There were also three son-in-laws, ten granddaughters, eight grandsons, six grand sons-in-law, five granddaughters-in-law and twenty three great grandchildren, making in all sixty one in number. By 12 o’clock thirty seven of this number had arrived, and at 1 o’clock the dinner, such as is seen only on such occasions, was spread and all did ample justice. At a late hour all departed hoping to be there again next year. -s
