Kirkpatrick Reunions - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

The first annual reunion of the Kirkpatrick family was held at the home of Joe Miller and family, at Cason, Saturday. About 75 persons were present, Joseph Kirkpatrick is the oldest member of the family and is 75 years old. John Kirkpatrick, of Frankfort: Susan McDaniel, of Lebanon, and M. E. Orear, of Jamestown, Dr. Rogers, of Rockville, and James H. Rogers, of Frankfort, with their children, grandchildren, cousins. aunts, uncles, etc composed the party. At noon a bountiful dinner was spread and everyone did ample justice to it. Dr Rogers, of Rockville, was toastmaster. Several were called on and heartily responded and many reminders of the old and honored name of Kirkpatrick were recalled. It was decided to organize a permanent organization for annual meetings of the families and W. H. Orear was chosen president and Ida Mae Kirkpatrick secretary.
