Ladoga, Oct 2 – At the beautiful country home of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Himes one mile north of town the Himes reunion was held Sunday Oct 1st. Early in the morning relatives and friends began to arrive at the home with well filled baskets until there were 125 present. The day was an ideal one and there were 91 relatives present. Mrs. Mary J. Himes, 84 years old was the oldest one present and Josephine Louise Kessler, three months old the youngest of the relatives. At the noon hour a big picnic dinner was served on the lawn to which all did justice. In the afternoon a good social time was enjoyed. Charles Himes of Indianapolis is president and Mrs. Ethel Himes Fall of Raccoon secretary. - kbz
