ANDERSON, Frank R - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Corp. Frank R. ANDERSON was wounded slightly in Korea Sept 13 while fighting. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. LB Anderson of Waveland. Col. Anderson enlisted in the Army in 1948 and was sent overseas a short time later where he served in Japan. His 5th Cavalry regiment was one of the first to see service in Korea at the opening of the war. The telegram to his mother did not state the nature of his wounds.
