"Lora J, dau. of Thomas F. and Lucy A. Patton, was born May 10, 1868. Died Jan 8, 1902 aged 32 years 7 months and 28 days. United with the Browns Valley Baptist Church Jan 26, 1884. Removed her membership to Dana Jan 1897 and in 1899 to Crawfordsville where she remained a faithful member until her death. Was married to Omer M. Cox May 12, 1895. Lora was a consistent and devoted Christian faithful wife and loving companion. She leaves a husband, father, mother, six brothers, three sisters and a host of relatives and friends. But we feel our loss is her eternal gain."
