A reception and display of historical documents dating back to the formation of the county were displayed at the Historical Society's Museum in Vernon immediately following the program at the Courthouse.

Each month we highlighed one of our townships and there was a 4 page pullout in the local Newspaper - North Vernon Plain Dealer & Sun - which had stories from that township.
February was Spencer Township. Rodger Rudick of the Hayden Historical Museum which is in Spencer Township supplied information for that group of articles. We put Spencer Township items from the Jenning County Public Library in our Local History & Genealogy Room display, and The Jenning County Historical Historical Society also had a display of Spencer Township History.
We had a great time highlighting our townships. The JC200 committee (Tom Taylor,Tom Rice, Rodger Ruddick & Sheila Kell) and other volunteers contributed articles for the newspaper, which were well recieved locally. The County Flag now flies at the Courthouse in Vernon. In the fall we had an old time baseball game in Vernon and these games will continue.
