Teddy W. Caster, age 75, of Portland passed away Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019,
in Wayne Healthcare in Greenville, Ohio.
He was born in Portland on
April 12, 1943, the son of Charles and Geneva (Duvall) Caster. He served
with the U.S. Air Force and was a 1961 Portland High School graduate. He
retired in 2008 from Teledyne Portland Forge.
He was past vice
president of the Conservation Club, and a member of Bitterridge Bow Club and
Arch Bridge Kroozers. He was an avid car collector and die cast collector.
Surviving are two brothers, Jim Caster of Portland and Chuck Caster
(wife: Diane) of Portland; one sister, Wanda Sanders (husband: Melvin) of
Portland; four nieces; and seven great nieces and nephews
Funeral
services will be Saturday, March 2, 2019, at 10 a.m. in the Baird-Freeman
Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Smith presiding. Burial will follow in the
Little Salamonia Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.
and prior to the services Saturday.
