Russell Brock

3/8/1909 - 1/30/1975

   Russell E. Brock, 65, of route 1, Bryant, a retired employee of Rainbow construction Co., Geneva, died early Thursday morning at the Cooper Retirement Home in Bluffton after an extended illness.

   Born March 8, 1909, in Jay county, he was the son of Judson and Furlena Chapman Brock.

   He was a veteran of World War 11.

   Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Ollie Middaugh of Portland, and Mrs. Edith Affhalter of Three Rivers, Mich.; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Opal Brock of Mishawaka, and several nieces and nephews.

   Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Baird-Freeman funeral home in Portland. Rev. J. Robert Coovert will officiate and burial will follow in Limberlost cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.
