Paul Ernest Albertson, 66, R.R. 3, Portland, died Tuesday morning at Lockwood McDonald Hospital in Petoskey, Mich., following a two-day illness. The family left last week for their summer home in Alanson, Mich.
A retired cabinet maker, Albertson was born November 25, 1902 at Balbeck, north of Pennville, the son of Dumont and Lucy (Jay) Albertson. On July 3, 1929, he was married to Pauline Garringer. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving besides his wife are one son, Paul Jr., Grover Hill, Ohio; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Phyllis) Edmondson, Anderson and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services are set for Friday at 1:30 pm at the Baird-Freeman
Funeral Home in Portland with Roger Rankin officiating. Burial is planned in
Bluff Point Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 pm
Thursday. Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.
