BUTTS, Abraham Lincoln - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Abraham Lincoln Butts, 80, who made his home with a cousin, AL Rutledge, Sharp, died Wednesday at the home of a niece and nephew, Ethel A. Emery and WF Stanley near Nevada, Mo. Mr. Butts, a resident of Okmulgee County for 10 years, had been in Missouri about a week visiting relatives when he was stricken by a heart attack and died. He is survived by two sons, Earl W. Butts, Urbana, Ill and Harry R. Butts, Champaigne, Ill; a daughter, Mrs. Bessie H. Maxwell, Indianapolis; a brother, Raymond Butts, Moundsville, Mo; a sister, Mrs. FE Breamer, Rygate, Mont and Mr. Rutledge. Funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at the Davis Funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Wilson cemetery. - kbz
