Alice Ennis Bush of Pence, age 94, died Saturday evening, April 10, in Covington Manor Nursing Home. She was born at Fountain, January 27, 1888, the daughter of Elijah and Henrietta Brown Ennis. In 1906, she married James Wesley Bush, who died in December of 1958.
Survivors include four daughters, Virginia Campbell of Hoopeston, Illinois, Betty Markley of rural Ambia, Reatha White of rural Williamsport and Genevie Know of Martinsville; a son, Robert of rural Williamsport; 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Fisher Funeral Home in West Lebanon with Rev. Grover Williams officiating. Burial was in West Lebanon Cemetery. - transcribed by s

Pence - Mrs. Alice Ennis Bush, 94, died at 5:40 p.m. Saturday in Covington Manor Nursing Home, Covington. She had been a patient there three weeks and in ill health since Oct 21. She was born and educated at Fountain (Portland Arch). She moved to Warren County in 1908 where she did domestic work a number of years. Her marriage was in 1906 to James Wesley. He died in 1958. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Curtis (Virginia) Campbell of Hoopeston, Ill; Mrs. William (Betty) Markley of Rt 1, Ambia; Mrs. Sam (Reatha) White of Rt 2, Williamsport and Mrs. Leon (Genevie) Knoy of Martinsville and a son, Robert Bush of Rt 2, Williamsport.

Note: I assume James Wesley is James Wesley Bush since she has a son Bush and no other marriage is mentioned although passing in 1982 after he died in 1958 may not be.
