HILLSBORO – Edward “Ted” Burditt, 81, of Houston, Tex., husband of a former Hillsboro resident, died Friday afternoon of a heart condition in Twin Oaks Hospital at Houston. Mr. Burditt was born in Boston, Mass. He was married to Ruby Humphreys of the Hillsboro-Waynetown communities. She died Sept. 5. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Candy Ann) Shubert of California; a mother-in-law, Mrs. Pearl Humphreys of Hillsboro; two sister-in-laws, Mrs. Virginia Lou Briney of Hillsboro and Mrs. Ioline Raymond of West Newtown, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted Monday afternoon at Houston. – jlr
