Twenty-year-old Lisa K. Bryant of rural Hillsboro was killed instantly Tuesday, February 15, in a one car accident five miles west of Lafayette. She was a passenger in a car driven by Mark T. Greives, 26, West Lafayette, who also died from injuries he sustained.
Tippecanoe Sheriff’s Department said the accident happened around 4 a.m. The Grieves auto had just left a group of S-curves on State Road 26 and was on a straight road. The car skidded 153 feet and went down a four-foot embankment and struck a tree broadside on the passenger side.
Both victims suffered broken necks and died instantly.
