BROWN, Lois Davis - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Lois E. Brown of Cayuga, age 68, died Tuesday night, February 22, in Vermillion Convalescent Center at Clinton, where she had resided for nine years. She was born at Yeddo, June 1, 1914, the daughter of Harley and Flora Carr Davis. She married Eugene P. Brown, who died in 1975.

  Mrs. Brown had been a restaurant owner and manager and at one time owned the Wabash Inn at Cayuga.

  Survivors include a sister, Jerrelyn Tripp of Scott Air Force base in Illinois; two nieces and a nephew.

  Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home in Cayuga with Rev. John Erwin officiating. Burial was in Thomas Cemetery at Newport. – thanks to S
