Mrs. Elizabeth Brown, wife of Martin Brown, of half a mile west of Wingate, committed suicide Monday night while suffering from dementia. She swallowed paris green. Mrs. Brown was 64 years old and she and her husband were living alone, all the children being married. Soon after taking the poison Mrs. Brown told her husband what she had done, and the doctor was called. He used a pump and got some of the poison, but enough had been taken to result fatally. She lived for 30 hours in intense agony. There were no family troubles. ā thanks to āSā
