Funeral services for Alexander Brimberry, age 64, of Oakland, Ill., a native of Fountain County, who died Tuesday night July 19, at his home, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the DeSutter Funeral Home in Attica. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Mr. Brimberry, who had been ill three years, was born March 11, 1902, in Mellott, the son of Henry and Alice Johnson Brimberry, He was married to Nellie Tabb, who survives. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: one son, Alex of Stone Bluff; three brothers, Ed of Attica, Charles of Veedersburg, and James of Greentown; one sister, Mrs. Katherine Childress of Anderson and two grandchildren.
