BRIGHT, Ruby Anne - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Services for Miss Ruby Anne Bright were held in Indianapolis Sunday. Miss Bright, 81, died Friday at her home in Indianapolis. Born in Covington, Feb 20, 1886, she was the daughter of Charles K. and Emma Carwile Bright. She was a graduate of Covington High School and attended Indiana University, and had taught elementary school in Duluth, Minn., for forthy years, until her retirement twelve years ago. Upon retiring, Miss Bright moved to Terre Haute, where she lived until last year. She was a member of the Women's Department Club there, the Presbyterian Church, the Indiana Poetry Society and the Covington Eastern Star and Tri Kappa. Survivors include two brothers, Robert G. and Charles K Bright, both of Covington; and a sister, Mrs. Clifton H. Wilgus of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Marx Herzog of Covington and a brother, James J. Bright of Indianapolis.
