Attica – Mrs. Nellie Mae (Walton) Brier, 75 of Attica died in Community Hospital, Williamsport at 4:30 a.m. Sunday where she had been a patient 8 days. Born in Yeddo, she resided in Attica 50 years. She was a former employee of RMC, Attica, and member of the women’s auxiliary of the Eagles Lodge and Auxiliary of the Brotherhood of RR Trainmen. In 1907, she married Ora A. Brier who died in 1958. Surviving are three Gordon and Glenn both of Attica and Ora C. of Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. James Robinson of Lafayette and Mrs. Gordon Cox of New Lennox, Ill; one sister, Miss Effie Walton of Earl Park and one stepsister, Mrs. Ada Ferrand of Terre Haute. – kbz
