BRIER, Cecil A. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

ATTICA — Cecil A. Brier, 59, a farmer, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday in his Rt. 1 home apparently of a heart attack. He had been in ill health since January. A native and life resident of the Attica area, he was a graduate of Attica High School. In 1953 he was married at Lafayette to Fern Childress, who survives. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II and he formerly attended Attica Christian Church. He was a member of Eagles Lodge 2596. Surviving with the widow are two sons, Donald Brier of West Point and Michael at home; one daughter, Mrs. Deleca Rivera of North Lauderdale, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Schultz of Lafayette, Mrs. Maurice (Josephine) Lawson of Rt. 3, Veedersburg, and Mrs. Harold (Katherine) DeBord of Williamsport; and two brothers, Merle Brier Sr. of Rt. 1, Attica, and Fred Brier of Attica.
