West Lebanon, Dec 12 – Clinton Ralph Vestal, Jr, 9 son of Clinton and Nancy (Kennedy) Vestal died of scarlet fever yesterday afternoon at 2:40 o’clock at the residence one mile south of here. Besides his parents, he leaves five sisters and brothers, three of whom are ill with scarlet fever. Private services were held at the residence this afternoon; Rev. Carol Longston officiating. Burial will be in West Lebanon cemetery. Hamilton, funeral directors in charge. --transcribed by kbz
