Attica – Donald Lee Livengood, 62 of Rt. 1, Ft. Stockton, Texas died unexpectedly at 7:20 a.m. Friday in Pecos County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Livengood formerly owned & operated Fewry Tire & Battery, Attica. He also worked as a truck driver for Tesoro Crude Oil Co in Ft. Stockton. Born in Attica, Nov 3, 1925, he moved from Attica to Texas 10 years ago and had resided in Fort Stockton the past two years. He attended Attica school. His marriage was June 11, 1950 in Attica to Rosella Smith who survives. An Army veteran of WWII he served in Japan and Germany. He was a member of Attica Christian Church. An avid citizens band radio enthusiast, he formerly was president of Bi-County REACT. Surviving with the widow are a daughter, Mrs. Claudia McMurtrie of West Point; one son, Robert Livengood of Watertown, NY; his mother, Mrs. Elva Marie Benjain Livengood of Attica; two brothers, Dale of Attica and Howard of Lafayette; and two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Marie) McCorkle of t 1 West Point and Mrs. Daryl (Ruth ) Richey of Rt 1, Attica.
