MARSHFIELD, Ind. (CNS) – Services were at 1 p.m. today at the Cumerford-Endsley Memorial Home in Peoria for Robert H. White, 63, a resident of 5310 N. Sherwood Ave.. Peoria, for the past four years. He died at 8:15 a.m. Friday (Feb. 8, 1974) at St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, The Rev. David McCool officiated, with burial in Swan Lake Memory Gardens. The family has requested any memorials be in the form of donations to the Illinois Valley Tuberculosis & Respiratory Disease Association in Peoria. Born April 11, 1910, near Marshfield, he was the son of James and Minnie Gilman White. He was married Jan. 31, 1942, in Peoria to Marguerite Hamilton, who survives. Mr. White was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was an Army veteran of World War II. Prior to the war, he was employed by the Caterpillar Tractor Co. in Peoria and later by the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co. Other survivors include two brothers, Paul of Lafayette and Sam of West Lebanon; a sister, Mrs. Gladys Spivey of West Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Mildred Pugh of Attica. -– jlr
