Graveside rites for Pvt. Forrest Babb, graduate of Wallace HS in 1942 will be held at 2 pm. Saturday at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington. The body will arrive in Danville Friday and will be at the Crumley & Son Funeral
Home, Covington, until the funeral hour. Pvt. Babb was Killed in Action in the invasion of Normandy. He enlisted in the US Army shortly after graduation. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Winfield Babb, Rockford.
Surviving are his parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
