Miss Alice June VanDeventer, daughter of Mrs. Julia VanDeventer of Attica, has recently joined the WAVES. The VanDeventer family were long residents of Veedersburg and her friends here will be interested in Miss VanDeventer's change of occupation. She is now visiting in Attica with her mother while awaiting her call at which time she will enter the service as an Ensign.
