WWII-MI-STARNES, Betty - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Betty Starnes, RN of the Epworth Hospital in South Bend recently enlisted in the US Navy as a nurse. She has been visiting her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. HI Starnes of near HIllsboro and left Tuesday for Great Lakes Navl Training Station and will be sent from there to San Diego Calif. She expects to leave for foreign service very soon. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Starnes of Crawfordsville.
