WWII-MI-LIGHTY, Marion - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

A letter written by Pvt. First Class Marion Lighty of a hospital unit to his parents Mr. and Mrs. Archie Lighty of Hillsboro on April 22 from Germany stated he was stationed in what had been a German Catholic hospital which was a beautiful building. He was located on the fifth floor. Said he had crossed the Rhine a few days before and that our boys sure did a good job when they crossed the river.
