A son, James Allen, was born April 14 at the Home Hospital to Mrs. Rebecca Shamp, 2408 North 18th Street. The baby’s father, Private Harry Lee Shamp was Killed In Action March 17 in the South Pacific. The mother is the former Rebecca Gregory. She has another son two and a half years old. --kz
