WWII-KIA-GUITERMAN, Jack - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Louella Simpson, Veedersburg has been notified of the death of her grandson, Jack Guiterman, 32, who was killed in an airplane crash in Africa. He had been in the US Air Forces for the past several months. Prior to entering the services he was engaged in the oil business at Beaumont, Texas.

His mother, Mrs. Nora Guiterman, a former resident of Veedersburg now resides at Rye, NY.  

This is the second grandson that Mrs. Simpson has lost in recent months. The other was James Simpson Jr who was killed in an airplane rash while in an Army training camp in Texas.

Both youths had visited in the home of their grandmother in Veedersburg.   --- transcribed by kbz
